So my question is, is posing toys in, er, situations our actors haven't found themselves in more or less ethical than using photoshop to do it?

see that doesn't bother me at all. I have read some real person slash even. But I do know that some people think it is crossing a line.

so if you put them in "situations" and call them harry, ron, and hermione - and not dan, rupert, and emma, people react better. Me, I don't see a difference. It's all made up for fun. :)

Harry's big grin just gets me laughing

Should he really be watching? lol

Good job:)

The question is "Should he only be watching?"

Very cute, Leviathan, even with my pet-peeve of "guys."

You beg another question: Just how far outside the norm is pervy three-way doll-sex?

And I just felt "blokes" was too explicitly "male" to be using on a mixed-gender couple.

amythis at 2007-04-13 15:14 (UTC) (Link)
No, "guys" is probably the only word that would work in this case, though I always picture Harry/Dan saying "Hey" a lot.

That's a bit of a leap, from Ron/Rupert stroking Hermione/Emma's face, moving in for another snog, and H/D with his hand on R/R's shoulder, all the way to "doll-sex." But don't ask me about the norm. I wouldn't say no to a clothed puppy pile for your dolls though.

That's a bit of a leap...

Well, a guy's got to think ahead...

Re: That's a bit of a leap...

Heh, well, you could ease them into it gradually, and we'll let you know when you've gone too far. ;-)

Re: That's a bit of a leap...

Squee! Blush! No wonder Harry's grinning.

Now you just need a caption, like "Upon reconsideration, Emma Watson has decided to do the last two films."

"My turn!"

Rupert/Ron turns and sweeps him into a huge, "Gone-With-The-Wind"-style kiss. Emma/Hermione turns to the camera. "I totally blame Shocolate for this..."

I'll tell you, that Ron toy has just given me more good times already...

I need to cowboy up, and make Harry and Ron some Quidditch Robes.

Hee, Good Idea!! Be warned if you do, I'm pretty sure the guys are going to demand Gryff color bra and garter for Hermione, so they can play naughty Quidditch fan in the locker room!!

Wow, look at Harry- between the grin and his eyes, you'd swear he was getting snogged!

Still, this had me giggling. Look at how intense Ron looks from that angle!! ::huge grin::

Only exception is that I hate it when people say "guys" to refer to females or mixed gender groups. It's always been a pet peeve of mine, even when I was a kid. To me, it's an inherent slap in the face and points to the sexism within language that we simply accept "just because". And, no, I wouldn't consider myself an uber-feminist or anything like that. It's just something simple that I find makes a big different to me. Most people wouldn't go up to a group of men and say "hey ladies", and if that was done in a mixed gender group, mostly only the women would pay attention to the speaker. /rant Sorry about that.

Can't wait to see the next picture in this series! We seem to be getting closer to three-way pervy goodness! :o)

Maybe it will help to look at it this way: You get words all to yourselves. We have to share ours with you.

This certainly seems analogous to the situation between myself and my wife and any specialty foods she or I brings into the house!

That is true, but I don't want sharing. ::stomps foot and pouts:: hehe. I'm serious, I've tried to figure out why it really bothers me so much, but I can't. I just know it sticks in my craw. Weird, huh?

Huh? LOL- I think I missed the connection somewhere!

When my wife brings herself home some specialty foods they are sacrosanct, belonging only to her.

When I bring myself home something, it's community property.

Ah, that makes so much more sense. Looking back, it made sense before, I was just being thick. ::facepalm::

Sounds like an interesting system you two have got going. ::wink:: :o)

OMG! This is eerily reminiscent of the scene reinacted on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson last night (5/14/07)! How strange is that?!
