Perhaps the reason you did walk that mile, was so that we could hear your beautiful singing voice.
Sorry you are having such a shit day.

Thanks so much.

I've been having nothing but shit days since Thursday night, and I see no sign of it changing.

And you are much too kind about my singing.

well, you haven't heard me sing!

I think it's your responsibility to correct that. PC mics are cheap.

I understand. What with all the record companies lining up to pay you millions to sing for them, why would you sing to us for free?

PC mics may be cheap, but the damage they can do can last a lifetime.

Well, true, the transports of ecstacy brought about by the angelic sound of your voice would be a high which must end, and we'd have to live our mundane lives, never hearing the voice of Heaven itself again.

*hugs*

Jon, I'm beginning to think you are the male ME.

That, my dear, is frightening. Perhaps therapy?

Can I request Elton John's "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me"?

Hmmm... I wonder if this is why I keep threatening to send cleavage shots to alloy_...

Can I request Elton John's "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me"?

You're really angry at Elton, aren't you?

BTW: When you think about it, that song is such a wise strategy, isn't it? I mean, man, if the sun actually were to go down on you? Owie! Talk about a nasty, burning sensation "down there!"

I wish the time I have at the office weren't the time I'm most able to be on LJ - my government computer blocks images and video, so I've been all sorts of behind on friends. Why was this mile so... unrewarding?

I should only be walking for one reason: For my health, my well-being.

I am walking only for one reason. To please someone who means everything to me. Someone who I want nothing more than to please and make proud.

Someone who, as near as i can tell, has angrily washed their hands of me over a misunderstanding that we ought to be able to get past in about five minutes of conversation and my most abject apologies, which I would give my heart and soul to offer.

So I walk without that imaginary company, with no goal, no end, and no reason in the whole damned world.

*is gobsmacked*

First off, I applaud you for continuing to walk. Not necessarily because it's good for you, but because having had my own heart beaten senseless, it is at once the most difficult and most necessary thing in the world to keep moving after these fallouts happen, even if it's a mile around the park.

Secondly, don't lose hope on your beloved. If, indeed, you two would otherwise easily reunite and get over this blip, then a little time will hopefully bring that person around. And if, ultimately, this someone finds that she can't get past it... then I think you are best free of someone who can't appreciate the fine, wonderful individual you are. Perhaps once you're with the one who does appreciate you that way, you can walk with your confidence as a companion and your own happiness as a goal.

I think you may be being a little too kind to me... But I'll take it!

Thank you so much for being so lovelyand supporive. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

Time did heal the wound, and our rift is closed again now. I'll be able to walk tomorrow (Friday) with a happier and lighter heart.

Misunderstandings are so unbelievably frustrating and when you are forced to communicate wtit out tone, inflection, or body language it can be very difficult to get to the bottom of and make right. I am so sorry you dealing with this but i am glad you walked for you because you are worth it.

Time heals wounds, and healed this one, too.

My friend has returned to me and I can walk again with a happy heart.

You do know how bad I feel about all of this, don't you? Despite the fact that I know it's not my fault, I do feel in part responsible for what happened between you two. ::cuddles you::

All is now well, though, so fret not. Life is putting one foot in front of the other, and taking the rough with the smooth.
