Me, by Jenn

Sometimes, it's good living in my little trailer park...

Pretty, but rather chilly, I suspect. Mandy doesn't seem to mind.

Thanks for sharing ♥

It's actually fairly warm today, and has been for the last several. Temperatures have been getting up into the 40s, giving us plenty of melting.

Mandy, by the way, hates the cold, snow, and even rain. Ever read Heinlein's "The Door Into Summer"? Mandy has that look down. "Not that door, you idiot! I want to go out the one that leads to the 70-degrees, with a pleasant breeze, and lots of lovely green grass!"

I must confess that Robert Heinlein probably counts as one of my formative influences - could well explain a lot ;-)

My current set of kitties seem pretty much undeterred by winter, although it hasn't been much below the 40s in the daytime here, and they are kept in at night.

Jet ( black Maine Coon ) is clearly working on being a bear-shaped cat - he is the biggest but also the laziest.

I'm a big fan of most of Heinlein, although his rabid hatred of anything smacking of socialism was an annoyance.

Mine are all indoor kitties, so they're completely unfazed by winter!

Wow, your Jet and mine, (Black American Shorthair with some siamese in hsi anscestry jusdging by hte shape of his face) couldn't be much more differretn. My Jet is long and sinuous, almost snakey, and determinedly active.

I'm quite good at skiiming over the bits in the story that I don't like ;-)

Long, sinuous, snakey and active sounds like half-Siamese to me also very loud - both meow and purr?

Recent trips to the vet means that we will not produce any half-Siamese round here - it's sensible I know, but it would have been fun.

I was just so amazed by the pinks and blues of that sky.

That is beautiful and so peaceful looking. I love the sunrise on a snowy day.

I'll complain about snow, but I am sometimes forced to aknowledge the beauty of my home state.

You want my snow? It's all yours, pal! Send a truck, and a team with shovels! I'll even go through and pick up the dog poo for them.

That's so pretty! I never have a camera ready when we get one like that.

Those are gorgeous! From my mother I learned the proper name for that pink is "sky blue pink." And I love the way it looks like the clouds are on fire.

Oh, it's such a lovely, lovely view. Thank God for a cell-phone camera good enough to do it some justice.
