I don't meme, but I liked this one.

Go over to Wikipedia and enter your birth date and then pick 3 events, 2 births and 1 holiday that occurred on the day of your birthday.

Events:
1889 - Thomas Edison shows his first motion picture.
1921 - International PEN is founded in London.
2007 - Jason Lewis completes the first human-powered circumnavigation of the globe.

Births:
1950 - David Brin, American author
1963 - Elisabeth Shue, American film actress

Holiday:
U.S. - German-American Day observed since 1987

Shocked and saddened by the death of Bernie Mac. Thank you, sir, for the laughter you gave me. Rest well. You've earned it.

So a guy who isn't running for President screwed someone he wasn't supposed to? I had about ten seconds of patience for this sort of thing when it actually was the president, and this was the worst you could accuse him of. But don't we have enough to worry about in the world of politics that this is unworthy of even a minute's airtime?

Finding a Jeffrey Donovan headsculpt is hard.

You can call it "Season 4" all you want, but it's really Season 31, and that's all there is to it.

I'm not really pleased with my work-to-life ratio at the moment, but I'm really enjoying my job.

Yeah, I get the season 31 reference.

I would do that birthday meme, but it's less fun when you were born on September 11. I did find out at Wikipedia that it's also the birthday of Dylan Klebold, one of the attackers who perpetrated the Columbine High School massacre. Awesome. Can I change my birthday now?

Glad to hear you're liking the job so far.

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who keeps saying to the TV, "And I care about this because--why?"

Without checking wiki, I know that I share a birthday with Laura Ingalls Wilder, Charles Dickens, Miguel Ferrer and James Spader.

Well, not alot exciting seems to have actually happened on October 18th, but I did find one I liked since I'm a huge fan of British television ...

1922 - The British Broadcasting Company (later Corporation) is founded by a consortium, to establish a nationwide network of radio transmitters to provide a national broadcasting service.
