Why SOPA is dangerous, an explanation of the bill

The thing that gets me is, by those rules if I upload an episode of South Park I have commited a crime.

But Matt Stone and Trey Parker have gone on record saying they are totally happy for people to download their stuff for free and would rather people got to see it.

So the person who OWNS the TV show seems to have no say in the matter and people who don't own the material can convict people of a crime.

It just boggles the mind.
