I like the OT3 a bit better, honestly. The way ROn's "serious" face seems tender pleases me.

Thanks so much! I'm really proud of Ron's broom, for which a GI-Joe fireman's axe, a fake sunflower, and a shaving brush -- plus some "Crayola Model Magic" air-drying clay and a brown "Sharpie" marker -- gave their lives.
OMG it's full of STARS!

Thanks! I'm really very pleased with how that Cleansweep turned out. As I was putting it together it seemed very rubbish to me, especially as I was "sculpting" the part where the branch spreads out to cover the join to the "twigs."

But once I colored it, it looks very good to me.

Hi, Lilly!

(First, I haven't had a chance to comment yet on the "Good Luck Kiss" but it's wonderful!

They were sorta kinda made by me. It's what folks in the Action Figure hobby call "kitbashing." That means you assemble parts already existing in other places.

Ron's head is a cast and molded copy of the head of the "Gentle Giant" Ron mini-bust (which I promise, I bought and paid for, at full price) beautifully made and painted by a friend of mine. He is on a body made by Dragon Models, Inc, with hands transplanted from a figure made by a different company called "Dragon in Dreams." He's wearing clothes made for various dolls and action figures.

Harry's head is from a "Magic Powers Harry Potter" toy, on a "Super-Articulated" GI-Joe body, with clothes taken mostly from Ken dolls. The Gryffindor Robes are from two of those "Magic Powers Harry Potter" figures.

Harry's Firebolt is molded in plastic from a toy Quidditch-playing Harry you'd hand from teh ceiling and turn on, and it would fly in circles with the jet of air from a little fan at the base of the broom. I extended teh broom-handle with part of the stem of a plastic sunflower purchased at Wal-Mart.

Ron's Cleansweep was made from teh handle of a GI-Joe Fireman's ax, more of the stem of that fake sunflower, and a shaving brush.

Thank you for the watch and for the explication!I even didn´t know this hobby has a name!My father was a plastic modelism fanatic and I have about 300 racing cars made by him in my mother´s house! So I know how much work they took of you and that they haven´t a real value! You really made a good job and I remember now, I saw your Ron and Hermione´s minibusts and your Ron when he was finished!I love so much your work that I´ll put your entry in my memories if you don´t mind. What about a R/Hr love scene?I know you have the two, so you could manage them in a photo!:D I´ll love to see!Kisses***

I'll try to come up with a good one for you.

In the meantime, you've seen this one, yes?

I love it. You did a great job. I don't think anyone could have done a better Cleansweep.
