Heh. Funny dollies!

(love the suit on Dubya. Talking Presidents?)

Dubya's head is "Talking Presidents" and so is his lapel pin. His suit was a Ken suit a couple of years ago, and his body is an Eversparkle Dragon knock-off.

Rummy's head is also Talking Presidents, on a first-generation BBI body with Donald Trump's suit.

Uncle Sam's head and entire costume are Talking Presidents.

(They were selling Dubya, Uncle Sam, Bill Clinton, and Dr. Laura dolls at "Tuesday Morning" stores recently. Rummy, I picked up a while ago on eBay.)

;^) That's Patriotism, Leviathan-Style. Dissent through savage mockery.

I highly approve of dissent as patriotism. :)

Man I love you. I just get so very depressed by the political shenanigans sometimes and then you pull this and make me laugh.
McCain - Palin is sooo scaring me because I fear the know-nothings will latch on to the beauty-queen adoringly supporting the war hero never recognizing that Patriotism is not blind. Informed disagreement with public policy - whether I agree with the dissenter or not - is proof of Patriotism in my book.
Anyway thanks for making me laugh - sorry I've been a real slob about writing I've had a hectic summer.

Yeah, cause you've sucked about writing, and I've been just perfect!

I'm not too scared of McCain/Palin, because it's doomed to failure in its fundimental purpose. McCain seems to have actually thought that what Hillary's supporters wanted was tits in the White House, and as long as he picked a running mate with a pair, all you wimminz would pony up your votes. (After all, by his standards, you sweet things haven't had 'em that long!)

This has infuriated and enraged every woman I know, except hard-core republicans who would, in fact, vote for an actual Pit Bull in lipstick, as long as the GOP nominated it.

Now now Jonathan. We both know that the LAST thing you want is a laissez-faire' attitude that McCain/Palin are doomed. I was certain that the overwhelming majority of Americans would see how wrong old W. was in 2004 and all hanging chads aside it was WAY closer than it ever should have been. I'm convinced it was because people were over-confident of a Republican defeat.
I love ya man, and I love having the opportunity to read not only your lovely stories but your opinions on all sorts of things. I sincerely fear for our ability to post or access either if the M/P ticket is elected and more Republican Rubber Stamp judges are placed in office. Come on even Palin admits she asked about what would be involved in getting books banned from her local library when she was the mayor or Wasilla. Librarian of the time claims some much stronger things which should scare the *&^$%* out of anyone with an interest in free speech, freedom of the press or even the rights of the less than 7 households worth of income citizens to have access to books. Remember our beloved JKR is one of the most 'requests for banning' authors out there currently. :shudder:
Anyway :stepping BACK off soapbox and setting it aside for next person: I saw my pile of notes for my next reviews for you just this last weekend and was assailed by guilt. Unfortunately not enough to actually write you instead of mowing the lawn, bathing the cats or catching up on sleep (my usual weekend routine). You, my dear sir, have no right to compare your writing production to me with mine to you since YOU have also been working on two stories. (that was a hint to update the Burn Notice tooooo in case it was too subtle) :Huge Grin:

I totally understand where you're coming from, and I am certainly firm in my opposition to McCain, and a big supporter of Obama. I'll continue to speak out.

But I can't feel the fear. I'm very sure that Obama will crush them.

And I have been continuing to work on "Crossover" and hope to finish and post the rest of it soon.
