The great thing about an Action Figure that comes with a Spare Head...

Is that if you have a spare body around, it's two for the price of one!

The likeness is pretty good, too...

Who makes this figure? There were two companies making historical action figures with similar names: Toy Presidents and Talking Presidents. (Both companies' figures talked.) One of them made very nicely tailored clothing -- they went under.

How many points of articulation? Which is to say, is he a doll or an action figure?

Do I need to run buy one, or can I just de-grin an AA Ken? (Somebody on my doll group did this, and it works pretty well.)

He's made by an Asian company (Hong Kong? I think so.) called "Dragon in Dreams," better known as "DiD." You've heard of them. I got him mint in box on eBay for about a hundred dollars -- nobody tell my wife that, okay? -- but some eBay sellers are parting him out, and you can probably get either head for about $20.00 shipped. He's very pale for an AA Figure, though -- which is appropriate -- so if you do that, find somebody who's selling a nude, headless Obama body as well, that should be another ten or twelve bucks. You can find suits, though.

He was out before the election. It just took until November Fifth for me to be willing to blow that much money on him. (And if I'd waited a couple of days, I could have got just the headsculpt for much, much less.)
